SCALEUP SCORE
Updated May 2026

How is my Scaleup Score calculated?

Data in, benchmarks applied, five domain scores combined into a single 0-1000 Scaleup Score - here is the full process.

Your Scaleup Score starts with your data. Once you have connected your tools, uploaded any relevant documents, and completed the onboarding questionnaire, Pixie has the information it needs to run the assessment. That data is then evaluated against over 50 benchmarks - specific, measurable indicators of scaling readiness drawn from evidence of what scaling companies do.

The benchmarks are grouped across five domains: Founder & Team (A), Product & Market (B), Business & Metrics (C), Environment & Infrastructure (D), and Capital Stack (E). Each benchmark produces a signal - you either meet it, partially meet it, or do not meet it - and each carries a weighting that reflects the strength of the evidence behind it. Your performance across the benchmarks in each domain produces a domain sub-score.

The five domain sub-scores combine into your overall Scaleup Score, expressed on a scale from 0 to 1000. A higher score reflects stronger alignment with the patterns that scaling companies demonstrate. The score is diagnostic, not predictive - it shows where you are right now, not where you will end up. Pixie assesses your current state against the evidence; the interpretation and decisions remain yours.

Your score refreshes quarterly on the free Pixie Score plan and monthly on Pixie Pro. As your business develops and you update your data, the score reflects your current position - not a historical snapshot. That cadence is intentional: scaling readiness changes, and your score should change with it.
