This document explains the rules for using the Pixie platform and services (the "Service").
By using our Service, you agree to these rules. If you don't agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Introduction
These are the rules for using the Pixie platform. Pixie Ltd. is the company operating the Service.2. Key Terms
Account: Your user login for the Service.
Content: Any data, text, or reports you see on the Service.
Scaleup Score: Pixie's diagnostic score (0–1000) that shows how your business compares to others (benchmarks).
User: You, the person or company using the Service.
User Data: The information you provide or connect from other services.
Benchmarks: The historical data we use to compare and create your Score.
3. Account Rules
You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal right to sign for your company.
Keep your login details safe and secret.
You must give us true and complete information.
We can suspend or close accounts that give false information.
4. About the Service
Pixie offers an AI-assisted platform to help startups understand how ready they are to grow ("scaling readiness").
We may change or stop offering certain features over time.
We cannot promise that the Service will always work without interruptions or errors.
5. Payments
Some features require a paid subscription.
Details about prices, when you are billed, and renewals are in the separate Subscription & Pricing Terms.
All prices are shown without VAT (sales tax) unless we say otherwise.
6. What You Cannot Do (Acceptable Use)
You agree not to:
Try to copy or figure out how Pixie's scoring works.
Use the Service for illegal or dishonest purposes.
Mess with the system's security.
Use Pixie's reports to pretend you are getting investment advice or predicting the future.
We can suspend your access if you break these rules.
7. Ownership (Intellectual Property)
Pixie owns everything related to the platform: the Service itself, the Scaleup Score method, the benchmarks, and the reports (except for your own data).
You own your User Data.
8. Your Data
You give Pixie permission to use your User Data only to provide and improve the Service.
We may use data that has been grouped together and made anonymous (so it can't identify you) for research.
Pixie will not sell your personal data.
9. Disclaimers (What We Are Not Responsible For)
Please read these carefully:
The Scaleup Score is a diagnostic (a report on your current state), not a prediction of future success.
Pixie does not offer financial, legal, or investment advice.
Benchmarks are based on the past, not a guarantee of your future results.
You are responsible for all business decisions you make.
10. Limitation of Liability
We limit how much we are legally responsible for. We are generally not responsible for:
Indirect or unexpected losses (like loss of profits or business opportunities).
Any decisions you make based on the Service's results.
Our total liability to you will not be more than the fees you paid us in the past 12 months.
11. Indemnification
You agree to protect Pixie and cover our losses if a claim is brought against us because you:
Misused the Service.
Broke these Terms.
Violated any laws.
12. Termination (Ending the Agreement)
You can close your Account at any time.
We can close your Account if you break these Terms or don't pay.
When your Account is terminated, your access to the Service stops.
How we handle your data after termination is covered in our Privacy Policy.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any legal disputes must be handled in the courts of England and Wales.14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms by giving you reasonable notice. If you keep using the Service after an update, it means you accept the new rules.15. Entire Agreement
These Terms are the complete agreement between you and Pixie. If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest of the Terms will still be valid.
